Practical information

Location

Because of the uncertainties resulting from the covid-19 situation, the school will be held entirely virtually. We will use the Zoom platform. Every participant will need to have a reliable internet connection and a computer with Zoom installed (free).

Dates

The school will be held over two weeks, from July 12 to July 23, 2021 (no school during the week-end). The lectures and project sessions will be scheduled only during afternoons (CET) to allow people from different time zones to attend.

Registration

The registration will be open from February 3^rd to May 29, 2021, via this website (link in the left column). There will be no registration fees.

You first need to create a sciencesconf.org account (if you do not already have one) by clicking on "Login" on the top right. Then, use the "Registration" link on the left hand side.

We originally planned to accept no more than 70 active participants. Considering the large number of people who have manifested an interest in the school, we have deciced the following.

1. Up to 450 registered participants will be allowed to attend the general lectures listed on the program;. We will close the registration if we reach this number before May, 29.
2. We will select up to 70 PhD students and postdocs to participate to the hands-on sessions.
